Let me tell you about one of my greatest success stories.
A client called Marc came to me saying he was doing everything: marketing, selling, showing up for clients, but nothing seemed to be shifting.
He kept asking the same question I’ve heard from hundreds of business owners before:
“How do I get more leads?”
Sound familiar?
I asked him, “Do you mind if I speak to one of your clients?”
He hesitated at first but said, “Sure, take your pick.”
I jumped on a call and in pure PG style, I got straight to the point.
Tell me the truth. I won't let Marc know. I'm Marc’s business coach and I’ve got a duty to get to the bottom of this. Everything you share with me is confidential.
I created a safe container for them to open up.
The client replied:
“The team are scrap. I have to follow up to get a response. Honestly, I’m only still here because I kinda like Marc.”
That was all I needed to hear.
Marc was panicking about lead flow while leaking clients out the back.
He had no idea his delivery was falling apart because he wasn’t close enough to the experience.
His team weren’t being led. Standards had slipped. Service was inconsistent. Clients weren’t staying.
Now imagine if I did this with your business.
Imagine I picked up the phone and spoke to one of your clients.
What do you think they’d say?
Most of you would be horrified.
Because the truth is, there’s a lot that goes on behind the scenes with your product and your team that you don’t even know about.
And the best business owners I know are psychopathic about fixing it.
They are obsessive about the detail.
They want to know everything that's broken so they can correct it fast.
It may sound extreme.
But abnormal levels of success come from abnormal levels of obsession.
And that’s why I’ve been working late nights building out the Expansion curriculum for September 5th.
This is the framework I’ll be revealing at the event.
It’s a diagnostic tool that shows you exactly where your business is leaking and what to fix first.
All businesses are built from the same DNA.
And when things slow down, most founders waste energy fixing the wrong part.
Let’s stop that.
For each Growth Driver below, I want you to answer the reflection question with one of three responses:
Strongly Agree, Strongly Disagree, or Somewhere in Between
(And we both know “somewhere in between” usually leans closer to Disagree than it does to Agree.)
Growth Driver #1: The CEO Operating System
This is your thinking, vision, beliefs, decision-making, and energy.
You are the most valuable asset in your business.
If your operating system is off, it creates ripple effects across every function.
Marketing becomes inconsistent. Sales dip. Team morale drops. Client delivery weakens.
Reflect:
Are you operating with clarity, conviction, and a personal system that drives performance every day?
Growth Driver #2: Customer Success, Retention & Loyalty
Your product or service is your business.
If it doesn’t deliver results faster and better than the market, you won’t lead the market.
This is where Return on Relationship is born.
Clients who stay longer, spend more, refer more, and advocate harder.
Reflect:
Are your clients getting undeniable results and staying longer because of the systems you’ve built?
Growth Driver #3: Team Performance, Culture & Systems
Your team is the extension of your product.
Every person must have a clear number, a defined role, and a standard to uphold.
Without training, leadership, and clear accountability, they drift.
A well-led team builds momentum. A misaligned team kills it.
Reflect:
Do you have a team that performs without needing constant micromanagement?
Growth Driver #4: Monetization & Pricing
Monetization is about maximizing what’s already working.
If you're generating 10 leads a week and only closing two, the opportunity isn’t more leads.
It’s sharper sales. Better packaging. More confidence.
Every extra sale boosts cash, lifetime value, and relationship equity.
Reflect:
Are you consistently converting the leads you already have into high-quality, high-value customers?
Growth Driver #5: Market Positioning & Reputation
Your positioning and reputation determine your demand.
You must be known, trusted, and respected.
The clearest, most proven voice in the market wins.
Whether it's organic or paid, nothing works long-term unless your offer is in demand and your results are real.
Reflect:
Are you clearly positioned as the go-to authority in your market with proof to back it up?
Your answers to these five questions tell us everything.
Where you’re strong.
Where you’re leaking.
Where your next breakthrough is hiding.
We’ll be going deep on all of this at Expansion on September 5th.
If you want focus, clarity, and profit, this is where you’ll get it.
Stay tuned. I’ll be dropping more soon.
