Time to chat.
I know you’re overworked. Overthinking. Spinning.
I know you’ve zero mental margin left. I know you’re probably tired reading this. I know you need some time out, but you’re afraid to take it.
My WORD have I been there with you.
I’ve had moments in my life where I took my iPad on “holidays” on a boat with me in case my team needed me.
I’ve had moments when my closest friends and family have that moment as they’ve had enough – pull you aside – and ask you “what the f*** you’re doing?”
Calls at 11pm? Can’t sit still? Never present? Screen-time still over 8 hours (just your iPhone)?
Until someone pointed out to me that I’d take none of this to my grave, nor be remembered for just my company and work ethic, I finally had a reality check.
And I’m hoping this page serves that for you too.
Your business is actually there to make your life better. Not the other way round.
You are not a vessel designed solely to serve the company (or prison) you’ve created. There is MORE.
But heads up, I’m no life coach nor motivational preacher.
I’m a business strategist, operating in business design, and a lateral thinker.
The consequences of which lead to a business operating to give you lifestyle design as much as better business design. So…
To effectively move forward, there are some components of tough love I’ve got to hand you first before we can proceed. Ready?
Read the below, follow the exercise, and let’s move on. The faster you hear and accept this, the better.
Spend this brief time here and understand you’re going to fail. Your best won’t work. There’s going to be conflict. And you’re going to test a lot.
Anxious? Got that pressure in your chest.
Perfect. Now hold that tension in your body, squeeze your shoulders up to your ears, and HOLD it.
Keep it there. And squeeze until it kinda hurts frankly. Make a weird face if you need to.
Then let it the FU** go, okay?
Good, now we can move forward.
We’ve spent time here talking about the fact that your business is designed to empower your life (and not the other way around).
In the WORST instances, by helping you buy back your best time and giving you more presence… you’re just going to spill that back into your business.
Instead, it’s my mission to help you become as much an investor of your time, as you are an investor in your business’s future.
I’m ALL about building an active “time portfolio” that still sees you growing your company, while “buying back” the energy and space for the things you want should do.
Right now, there exists a handful of ways in which your business can grow that you’re most likely blind to. We will turn every stone together to find it, and grow them.
To be clear, every business has levers you can pull that maximise either lead volume, conversion volume, price elasticity, margin elasticity, retention capacity, and/or recurring (revenue/subscription) capacity.
By having the perspective of seeing inside thousands of businesses, and hundreds of different niches, I can bring the best of operational growth to YOUR enterprise, so you don’t have to go out and test for it. Allowing you…
Your role as leader is simple. People >> Purpose >> Performance. That’s a system whereby each part affects another, and each part together produces effects that are different from the parts on their own.
The people you have are one thing. But people with improved performance? That’s another.
The people you have, with a real purpose in your operation, with the standards of improving performance? You’ve got operational excellence that focuses on retention of standards, people, and revenue. You get all this and it gives you…
AKA the ability to buy back your best time, and not just splurge it back into your business. You’ve been there and done that.
Now it’s time to take some reward for yourself. To be clear, I’m not going to tell you what to do here. Instead, I want to spend time showing you that much like a business or investment portfolio, you’re also building a time portfolio. So our goal with your finite time?
How do we best allocate your time in tests that maximise a truly fulfilling life. At the top level… family time, free time, and thinking time. Space is needed.
It’s uncomfortable, yet once you dial into this system, your business will grow as a default with LESS time and tension input from you. Then…
Let’s be careful. This means different things to different people. Our aim together is to keep you in business, which means scaling strategically while increasing profit.
Too many business owners are content to grow their topline while keeping the exact same – if not dwindling – bottomline. Yet when you factor in inflation, labour, and marketing costs… you’re slowly depreciating in real value.
With the above 3 components covered, you are free from the constraints you once had. You cannot unlock scalability until you release your, and your team’s constraints. Once the 3 points above are covered, we will push the pedal down, but do it in a way that preserves the maximum MPG. Make sense?
The world’s best CEOs will spend 6-figures on continual degrees, then balk at working with someone 1-1. It makes no sense because degrees can’t give two things:
Firstly → Perspective
Secondly → Experience.
You’re in the bottle. You can’t read the label from inside.
That’s why perspective is key for your future growth. Yet that perspective is even more important when it comes from someone who can see around corners for you, because they’ve been there.
If you will, allow me to bring that lateral perspective for you. Then let’s look at how that can fuel the other successes in your life you’re yet to tap into.
Reach out by using the button below and send me a message about your business, your goals, and you as a CEO.
You’ll be texting me through a specific chat link, and I’ll create a plan that will allow you to decide if this makes sense for you, if you have the time to commit to it (you do), and whether we’re a fit (we might not, honestly).
Two of my favourite quotes to close with:
1. “There are decades where nothing shifts. Then days where decades can be shifted.” → You’ve just got to be aware of them when they’re in front of you.
2. “You’re one human away from changing your life. Not a tactic” → Tactics are band aids compared to strategic vision. So unlock scale by releasing your constraints.
